On February 22, 2024, a meeting of students of the Economics Department was held in the college auditorium. The event was organized by the head of the Economics Department, Iryna Mykolayivna Martynova, who informed the team about the contingent of students and summarized the results of the department's work for the first semester of the 2023-2024 academic year, as well as informed about the events planned for the current second semester and other organizational aspects related to the educational process.
Representatives of each of the groups of the economics department presented a report on the work of the study group, changes in personnel, and participation in educational activities in the previous academic semester, as well as informed about the status of the liquidation of debts of the group's students.
Deputy Director for Educational Work, Oleksandr Hryhorovych Talimonchuk, reported on the fundraising for drones that will be purchased and transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and asked to take active and passive participation in the charity event.
Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Baldych Lyudmila Volodymyrivna highlighted the issue of liquidating students' economic debts that arose during the winter session and the reasons for student expulsion. She also reported on the state of qualitative success in other departments and in the college as a whole: the qualitative success of the economics department for the first semester is 58.1%, which is one of the best among the groups of "Professional Junior Bachelor", and the success of students in the "Bachelor" degree is 60.7%. Lyudmila Volodymyrivna also discussed the issue of production and educational practices of the economics department groups and the issue of adaptation of first-year students.
The meeting was attended by Valeriy Dmytrovych Humenyuk, the college's head of NMT administration, who discussed the calendar for organizing and conducting the national multi-subject test (NMT) in 2024. Test preparation courses in various subjects were created for students. According to his recommendation, students should start preparing for the test now to get good results.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the economic department, I. M. Martynova, summed up the meeting, wished excellent achievements, and a peaceful and calm end to the academic year.
