Main events scheduled for the NMT-2025 calendar

The national multi-subject testing will take place during the main and additional sessions. The main sessions will be held from May 14 to June 25; additional sessions will be held from July 14 to 25.

According to the above by order provided two registration periods for participation in NMT – main and additional.

The main registration stage for participation in the main sessions of the NMT will last from March 6 to April 3 inclusive.

Until April 8, registered students will be able to make changes in their personal accounts, including choosing a different subject. additional unit whether to change locality in Ukraine / abroad, in which they wish to undergo NMT).

During the additional period (May 9-14), individuals who were unable to do so for valid reasons during the main registration period, as well as those who registered during the main registration period but were denied registration, will be able to register for the NMT during additional sessions. Changes to registration data will be possible until May 19.

Starting May 4, registered participants of the main sessions of the NMT will have the opportunity to download from their personal accounts invitations, which will indicate the date, time and place of the NMT. Participants of additional sessions will be able to do this from July 11. For security reasons, the UCEQA will not publish information about where in Ukraine the testing will take place, either on the websites of the Ukrainian and regional centers for the assessment of the quality of education, or on its official pages in social networks. We strongly recommend that participants not to disclose, where and when the testing will take place, because their safety and that of the NMT organizers may depend on this.

Information about the results of the main NMT sessions on a scale of 100 - 200 points will be posted in the participants' personal accounts by July 4, additional ones by July 30. Download the NMT-2025 calendar (in pdf format) from the UCEQA website.

Preparation for the national multi-subject testing from UCEQA

         Advice 1. Check out the programs. All NMT tasks will correspond to the content of the external assessment programs in academic subjects.

         Advice 2. Systematic learning at school is a prerequisite for success. As for preparing for testing in general, persistent and responsible study in an appropriate educational institution is helpful: this is what provides a solid foundation for a high result at the NMT. When working on each new topic, whether in the history of Ukraine, mathematics or the Ukrainian language within the current educational process, work meaningfully. After studying the topic, record the main points, create, for example, a knowledge map. Use information only from reliable sources recommended by the teacher.

         Advice 3. Practice on past years' tests. Of course, it is worth checking the knowledge you have gained - completing typical test tasks of various formats of the external and internal examinations of previous years. You will find them in the section "Tests of past years" or use the hyperlinks below:

Tip 4. Practice your skills with online platforms, using short thematic tests from various academic subjects in online tester on the website of the Lviv Regional Center for Education Quality Assessment will help you practice completing tasks on a particular topic, identify gaps, and work on them.

Tip 5. When preparing for a test on the history of Ukraine can also be helpful exercise machines from the Lviv Regional Center for Education Quality Assessment. For example, the functionality of the simulator on the history of Ukraine allows you to work online with images of monuments and historical figures and test tasks containing these images. And with the help of "Abetka" you can recall or learn the definitions of concepts and terms of a certain historical period and complete the corresponding test tasks. Thanks to the proposed maps, you can practice your skills in working with tasks containing cartographic material, as well as gain skills in performing the so-called cluster test tasks, which appeared in the test booklet of the external examination in history in 2016 and are now among the tasks of the National Secondary Educational Service. Tip 6. Focus on the demo version of the test. Start of registration

March 6 The main registration period for those who intend to take part in the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) begins. And it will last until April 3, 2025.

To register for participation in the NMT, the entrant must use the special service, which will become active on March 6 at 00:01, create personal cabint on the UCEQA website. This can be done automatically, using the Action application, or by filling out the form in the registration service.

After creating a personal account, perform the following actions in it:

1) enter your registration details (contact information, category "graduate of the current year" or "graduate of previous years", information about the educational institution (for graduates of the current year), if necessary, put a mark about passing the NMT during additional sessions, indicate the need to create special (special) conditions), choose a subject from the proposed lists to choose a settlement in Ukraine or abroadwhere the applicant plans to stay during the days of the NMT, as well as the language of the certification work;

2) upload scanned copies and/or photocopies of registration documents (the program will automatically determine their list according to the entered registration data):

  • a document containing information about education: certificates from the place of study, which confirms that the person completes their complete general secondary education in 2025 (for this year's graduates), or one of the following documents: document on complete secondary education, a document on the obtained educational and qualification level of a junior specialist, a document on the obtained educational and professional degree of a junior bachelor, a document on the obtained higher education degree, an extract from the Register of documents on education of the EDEBO, which confirms the presence of one of the documents on education specified in this subparagraph  (for graduates);
  • information about the language of instruction (for applicants who wish to receive certification work assignments in mathematics, and/or history of Ukraine, and/or biology, and/or geography, and/or physics, and/or chemistry in the language of the indigenous people or national minority);
  • medical conclusion on the creation of special conditions for passing an external independent assessment according to the form of primary accounting documentation No. 086-3/o "Medical opinion on the creation of special (special) conditions for passing an external independent assessment", approved by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated August 29, 2016 No. 1027/900 (for people with special educational needs);

3) confirm your desire to participate in the NMT and send entered information and copies of documents for processing at the regional education quality assessment centerby clicking on the corresponding button in the service.

Admission procedure to higher education institutions

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has published Admission procedure for higher education in 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure). Approved by Order No. 168 of February 10, 2025, the document defines the basic principles and procedures that higher education institutions will follow when organizing the admission of applicants.

The entrance exam for bachelor's programs at higher education institutions in Ukraine in 2025 will be held in the format national multi-subject test (NMT)Within the NMT, each participant will perform tasks of four academic subjects, three of which are compulsory (Ukrainian language, mathematics and history of Ukraine), and one to choose from the list (Ukrainian literature, foreign language (English, German, French, Spanish), biology, chemistry, physics, geographyThe applicant will indicate the subject of choice during registration for participation in the NMT.

Because characteristics of NMT certification work There are no open-ended questions with a detailed answer; immediately after passing the test, each participant will learn about the number of test points scored for completing tasks in each subject of the NMT. In deadlines specified in the calendar plan these scores will be converted to a scale of 100–200 and posted in his/her personal account in the “Results” tab. By the way, tables for converting test scores to a scale of 100–200 submitted in Appendix 5 to the ProcedureTo obtain a result on a scale of 100–200 in each subject of the NMT, you must score at least 15 % of the total number of test points.

Please note that for admission, in addition to results NMT 2025, can also be used NMT results 2022–2024Information on how these results will be taken into account and what will be taken into account when calculating the competition score is provided in Chapter VII of the Procedure.

Please note that when calculating the competitive score for admission to a particular specialty, the results of each subject of the NMT will be applied weighting factor. A table listing the weighting factors for NMT subject assessments is provided in Appendix 7 to the Procedure.

Short thematic tests on various academic subjects in online tester on the website of the Lviv Regional Center for Education Quality Assessment will help you practice completing tasks on a particular topic, identify gaps, and work on them. 

NMT simulators on the platform iLearn – another resource with practice test tasks, the completion of which will allow registered users to track their progress, and weekly free webinars on academic subjects will add confidence in high-quality preparation for entrance exams.
