Educational work
We form a personality
The goal of the educational process in college is not only to form academic competencies, provide thorough professional knowledge, but also to educate a citizen, a patriot; an intellectually developed, spiritually and morally mature individual, ready to resist asocial influences, deal with personal problems, and create himself and the world around him.
The education of students is carried out in the context of civic and universal culture, encompasses the entire educational process, is based on the freedom to choose the purpose of life, and combines the interests of the individual, society, and the state.
The strategic direction of educational work at the college is the national-patriotic education of student youth. The teaching staff of the college has been working on the implementation of the project “My Little Homeland” in recent years, which was initiated by the teacher of land management disciplines Buslenko Halyna Mykhailivna. The project participants received awards from the All-Ukrainian public organization “Union of Ukrainian Women of Ukraine” for active participation in the International Competition “My Native Land”. Meetings with participants of hostilities are systematically held. The patriotic education of student youth was facilitated by educational events with the participation of Senior Lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Kameristova T. A., senior officer of the OK "West" management, Lieutenant Colonel Stepanov O.M., a participant in the battles of sector "M", deputy battalion commander, Lieutenant Colonel Belitsky V.A., a college graduate Kravchuk Yu.A., fighters of the volunteer regiment "Azov" Voitsekhovsky O.I., Tsebalo K.Ya. and others. The college staff supports the defenders of the territorial integrity of Ukraine with specific cases: cooperation has been established with volunteer organizations (fundraising in public places, packaging and sending food products, manufacturing camouflage nets), visits to the Rivne military hospital, where wounded soldiers are being treated, have become traditional, and support is provided to the family of college graduate Svidersky Dmytro, who died during hostilities.
Educational events for the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks, the Day of Remembrance of Victims of the Holodomor and Political Repressions, the Day of the Revolution of Dignity, the Day of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, the Day of the Ukrainian Language, and the Day of Vyshyvanka have become traditional events at the college.
The current issue is the legal education of student youth. Educational classes are held in the study groups in the form of trainings, business games, and meetings with representatives of law enforcement agencies. The college has an Educational and Legal Consultation, where every student can receive free legal assistance.
An important area of educational work at the college is the environmental education of student youth. College students participate in various environmental campaigns: college representatives were participants in the Second Knowledge Fair of the Global Environmental Fund Small Grants Program in Ukraine, held under the auspices of the UN. The work of the environmental group “Dzherelo” (headed by ecology teacher Malymon S. S.) was noted on the pages of the All-Ukrainian monthly publication “Development and Environment”. Every year in April, the traditional monthly “April, Earth” is held.
The college has created appropriate conditions for the development of students' creative abilities - competitive programs "Panna Vesna", "We declare ourselves", "We accept into the student family", "Student of the Year", "Mr. College", concert programs for the Day of Education Workers, the Day of Agricultural Workers, and the Day of Students are held. College students regularly visit the theater, the organ music hall, and the city's exhibition halls. College amateur art groups successfully perform at the International Festival "Holosiivska Vesna", which is held at the base University. Two amateur art groups operate on a permanent basis in the college - a studio of modern song (director - Karpyshin Maryana Ivanivna) and the vocal ensemble "Vyshyvanka" (director - Stepaniuk Tamara Yevgenivna).
Students studying at the college have the opportunity to improve their sports skills. The educational institution has seven sports sections. The college’s national teams participate in sports competitions of various levels – city, regional, and all-Ukrainian. Two of our graduates, Koschei Lyudmila and Pryshchepa Natalia, represented Ukraine at the Olympic Games – in Atlanta in 1996 and in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, respectively. On August 10, 2018, at the European Athletics Championships in Berlin, our star – Pryshchepa Natalia proved that she is the fastest in Europe at a distance of 800 meters. For the second time in a row, she became the European champion!
Rafalsky Konstantin, a third-year student of the construction department, is a player of the Ukrainian Super League futsal team of the MFC "Cardinal Rivne", is a member of the Ukrainian U19 futsal team, which in 2023 became a semi-finalist of the European Championship; Polotsky Andriy, a student of the construction department, Zhovtko Yuriy, a student of the programming department are included in the Ukrainian national youth swimming team. Ostapchuk Dmytro, a first-year student, bachelor's degree, became the Ukrainian youth champion in discus throwing. The college's volleyball team (girls) is successfully performing at competitions.
Events such as "Health Day", the college championship between departments, and cross-country athletics have become popular among young students.
In order to create proper conditions for physical education and sports, a football field with artificial turf was opened in 2018.
An important requirement today is the development of student self-government. The college administration cooperates with student self-government bodies, meetings of the college management with members of student councils and the student trade union are systematically held, and student representatives participate in meetings of the college's pedagogical council.
Student newsletters are published at the department level, and a dialogue community has been created on the initiative of student council members.
College students are active participants in the volunteer movement - they provide assistance to children in the oncology and hematology department of the Rivne Regional Hospital, the Rivne City Children's Home, the Klevan Comprehensive Boarding School for Children with Visual Impairments. Charity events are held in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The college has a health center where students and teachers can undergo examinations and receive qualified advice and assistance.
College students are provided with relatively cheap and high-quality meals in the dining room, which is located directly in the academic building.
The college administration pays great attention to improving living conditions in the college dormitories. Out-of-town students are fully provided with a dormitory, where proper conditions for students' living and recreation are created.
The educational space created in the college gives students the opportunity to feel like individuals, promotes the development of their creative individuality, and provides the necessary conditions for the formation of a new Ukrainian intellectual elite.
