History of the correspondence department
In order to train and retrain qualified specialists, a correspondence department was opened at our college. Over the years of the institution's existence, more than 11 thousand specialists have received their education.
In different years, the correspondence form of study was headed by: Bondarenko M. D. (1958 - 1963), Gavrilyuk A.M. (1963 - 1967), Molchanova G. M. (1967, 1974 - 1984), Katanash T.O. (1984 - 1994), Boyko S.T. (1994 - 1998), Klima I.V. (1999 - 2012), Osadchuk O.S. (2012 - 2016).
The correspondence department began its activities in 1958 with the specialty "Accounting", which enrolled 39 students.
In 1960, the first graduation in the specialty "Accounting in Socialist Agricultural Enterprises" took place. There were 34 graduates, but the industry needed a much larger number of specialists.
In 1967, the specialty "Agricultural Production Planning" was opened.
In 1968, he majored in Accounting.
In 1971 - specialty "Industrial and Civil Engineering".
In 1982, the first graduation of two groups took place in the specialty "Land Reclamation", which in 1992 was renamed the specialty "Land Management".
Over the following years, many efforts were made to improve the organization of distance learning.
In 1991, the specialty "Jurisprudence" was opened.
In 2001, he majored in "Commercial Activities," and in 2005, he majored in "Finance."
Today, the correspondence department trains specialists in the following specialties:
- 072 "Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market";
- 071 "Accounting and Taxation";
- 076 "Entrepreneurship, trade and stock exchange activities";
- 080 "Law";
- 193 "Geodesy and land management"
- 192 "Construction and Civil Engineering"
The licensed enrollment volume for part-time students is 275 people.
Mutual understanding, mutual assistance, and cooperation between teachers bring high results in the success of part-time students.
The thorough, professional training that students receive in the part-time form of study allows them to work fruitfully not only in the agricultural sector, but also in many other industries.
Since 2020, the department has started recruiting students for the specialties “Management” and “Software Engineering”.

Pastushenko Natalia Volodymyrivna – methodologist of the correspondence department, higher education, total work experience of 22 years, teaching experience – over 10 years.
The correspondence department is provided with qualified personnel with basic and pedagogical education that corresponds to the profile of the disciplines assigned to them. More than 85 % teachers are certified for the highest and first categories.
The correspondence department employs more than 70 full-time teachers.
Teaching staff conduct classes at a high professional level, using innovative forms and methods of teaching, using modern means of communication.
General provisions on the organization and conduct of a laboratory examination session
The educational process in correspondence studies in higher educational institutions is carried out in accordance with the Regulations on the Organization of the Educational Process in Higher Educational Institutions.
The main organizational form of the educational institution's activity in training specialists in-service is a laboratory and examination session, during which all types of educational work provided for in the curricula are carried out.
All types of academic work of students studying on-the-job, taking tests, and deadlines for laboratory and examination sessions are specified in the academic schedule.
During the academic year, one or two or three laboratory and examination sessions may be held, the total duration of which is up to 40 calendar days, depending on the duration of study and specialty.
The time of the session should be set in accordance with the curricula, taking into account the interests of the enterprises where the majority of students work.
Students who have no debt for the previous course and before the start of the laboratory and examination session in all disciplines submitted for the session are entitled to additional paid leave.
A call-in letter is sent to students before the start of the laboratory and examination session, and is presented to enterprise managers to obtain additional paid leave for the period of the session.
