Economic education – is a means for the development of economic thinking, which is implemented in the form of human economic behavior. This constitutes the economic culture, which is the basis for the development of material well-being in society, and specialists in the economic field are professionals who are perfectly oriented in the complex financial, economic and legal labyrinths of doing business, competent in accounting, auditing, taxation, analysis and planning of the activities of enterprises, firms, companies, government institutions, possess knowledge and skills that are effectively applied in the process of forming and using resource potential and ensuring the successful implementation of functions and tasks carried out by the management of enterprises and companies.
Economic Department of the Higher Educational Service "Rivne Vocational College of NUBiP of Ukraine" – one of the leading departments of the college, began its history with the accounting school in 1952. The department was created on September 9, 2010 by merging the accounting and commercial departments.
The department is headed by a teacher of the highest category, teacher-methodologist Iryna Mykolaivna Martynova.
The training of students is carried out by a cyclical commission of economic disciplines, under the leadership of a higher category teacher, teacher-methodologist Oksana Mykolaivna Kononchuk.
The main task of the department's teachers is to form professional competencies in students that will allow them to be competitive in the labor market and help change life in Ukraine for the better. This lofty goal is served by various traditional and innovative forms of the educational process.
The training of specialists of the economic department is carried out in the following specialties:
- 071 Accounting and taxation, educational degrees – professional junior bachelor, bachelor;
- 072 Finance, banking, insurance and stock market, educational degree – professional junior bachelor;
- 073 Management, educational degree – professional junior bachelor;
- 076 Entrepreneurship and Trade, educational degree – professional junior bachelor.
Accounting and taxation - is a special specialty that is associated with the creation and management of information about all processes in the activities of a modern enterprise and the state as a whole. The accounting profession always enjoys a consistently high in demand and is one of the most sought-after on the labor market. It is prestigious in Ukraine and other countries of the world.
An accountant is a profession for dynamic and ambitious people who are interested in everything new and modern. Accounting and taxation specialists work in all, without exception, areas of business activity and sectors of the national economy.
Students of the department will receive thorough knowledge of financial, tax and management accounting, auditing, accounting information systems and technologies, accounting for foreign economic activity, business planning, budgeting; financial and economic analytics in all areas of economic activity.
Finance, banking, insurance and the stock market – the only economic specialty that purposefully trains specialists to work in financial institutions (banking institutions, insurance companies, local governments, treasury bodies, tax authorities) and financial services of enterprises of various organizational forms of ownership (representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, large business structures, village and city councils, district and regional state administrations, etc.).
The profession of a financier is one of the most prestigious and highly paid in the world, and requires the systematic application of management and analytical skills to assess the financial condition of enterprises and organizations, budgeting and forecasting, control over the spending of funds, and develop measures to minimize risks.
Modern realities and trends in the development of the world economy require energetic and multifaceted professions. One of the most highly paid, interesting and exciting specialties is: ManagementNowadays, management has become one of the most important professions, and management education is the basis for training professional managers..
Modern manager − is a highly qualified head of an enterprise or structural unit who is able to navigate market relations well, respond in a timely manner to market conditions, supply and demand, organize staff recruitment and motivation, make independent decisions on issues of organizing the activities of business entities, taking into account current requirements, the practice of making management decisions, and monitoring their implementation.
Entrepreneurship and trade is an activity related to achieving success in business, trade, and competition with the aim of improving the buying and selling process.
The specialty has two branches: entrepreneurship and trade.
Entrepreneurship - is an initiative, creative, risk-related independent economic activity of a business entity that constantly carries out new combinations of resources in order to implement new ideas, produce new products and make a profit; it is an organizational and economic innovation based on the use of various opportunities for the production of new or existing goods by new methods, the discovery of new sources of raw materials, sales markets, reorganization of production, etc.
Trade — are any transactions carried out under contracts of sale, barter, supply and other civil law contracts that provide for the transfer of ownership rights to goods. Initiative, systematic, carried out at one's own risk for profit activities of legal entities and individuals in the purchase and sale of goods to end consumers or intermediary operations, or activities in the provision of agency, representative, commission and other services in the promotion of goods from the manufacturer to the consumer.
Entrepreneur – is a leader, business owner or company manager, has a developed entrepreneurial worldview, is able to bear responsibility for entrepreneurial activities and their subordinates, solves strategic issues of business development, is able to work in risky conditions, and always achieves success!
The economics department widely uses the experience of conducting classes and excursions at leading enterprises of the city and region, namely LLC SGP named after Volovikov, DP Klevanskyi lishosp, SGPP "Nove Zhittia", TDV "Plodorozsadnyk", SGPP "Zlagoda", SVK "Peremoha", SGPP "Rokytne", DPDG "Bilokrinytske", PJSC Agrofirma "Zorya named after Plyutynskyi", DSP Plus, trademark LLC "Epicenter K", hypermarket "Epicenter K", LLC "Audit company AKTIV PLUS", which allows significantly improving the level of assimilation of theoretical educational material, forming and improving practical skills and abilities, making the educational process interesting, and encouraging students to creative work.
The vast majority of graduates of the economics department continue their studies in their chosen specialty at universities and institutes on a full-time or part-time basis. This is facilitated by the fact that the college is part of the structure of the National University of Life Resources and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
