Psychological Service of the Higher Educational Service "RFK NUBiP of Ukraine"
The most urgent task today is to create conditions for supporting and strengthening the mental health of all participants in the educational process. To effectively solve this problem, the psychological counseling and psycho-emotional relief office conducts individual and group consultations, thematic seminars and trainings for students, teachers and college employees.
The services provided by the service are provided free of charge.
Purpose of the activity psychological service:
- Improving the quality and ensuring the accessibility of services in the field of practical psychology.
- Creating conditions for the formation of psychological culture and worldview.
- Promoting the development of a mentally healthy, holistic personality in the physical, mental, social and spiritual dimensions.
- Increasing the effectiveness of the educational process using practical psychology.
The main tasks The college's psychological service is:
- Improving the psychological culture of all participants in the educational process, humanizing relationships in student and teaching teams.
- Promoting the full personal development of students and creating appropriate psychological conditions for the formation of their motivation for learning, self-realization, creative abilities, self-education and self-development.
- Selection, development and application of psychological techniques and training sessions aimed at developing a psychologically stable personality.
- Providing individual psychological assistance to students, teachers, and other college employees in the form of psychological consultations.
- Psychological support for the prevention of: bullying, mobbing, deviant behavior among students; conflicts and personal problems of employees of the institution and students.
Main functions The college's psychological service is:
- Diagnostics - social psychological study of students, teachers, monitoring the development of individual mental phenomena, identifying the reasons that complicate personal development, learning, and relationships in the team.
- Correction - training sessions aimed at revealing individual characteristics, acquiring skills of positive social behavior, and forming a positive attitude towards one's own "I".
- Psychological education is the improvement of the psychological culture of all participants in the educational process.
Main areas of work psychological service:
- Diagnostic work is the study of all substructures of the personality: mental processes, emotional sphere, personal characteristics, motivation. Psychological diagnostics involves the passage of various methods and tests that will help to better understand individual characteristics of character, abilities, temperament, etc.;
- Preventive work among students - measures aimed at preserving psychological health; timely prevention of deviations in interpersonal relationships, prevention of conflict situations in the educational process, prevention of drug addiction, alcoholism, and immoral lifestyle;
- Educational work is aimed at improving the psychological culture of students and employees. Students and teachers participate in thematic meetings, discussions on solving psychological issues in the field of education. Lectures and round tables of a psychological nature are organized for students, supervisors, teachers and employees of the college;
- Psychological counseling - providing psychological assistance by creating conditions under which the visitor discovers (realizes) new opportunities in solving their difficulties;
- Psychological correction – restoration of the integrity of the personality, harmonization of the inner world, elimination of negative manifestations, increase of the adaptive capabilities of the personality, development of abilities, etc.
