14.03.2024 Nelya KIYKO held an open lesson on the discipline "Land law» on the topic: «Acquisition of land ownership» for third-year students of specialty 193 "Geodesy and Land Management" of group 31-Z.
Purpose of the lesson: to familiarize students with the main novelties of land law regarding the acquisition of land ownership.
Type of lesson by content – informative lecture. Teaching aids used: multimedia presentation “Acquisition of Land Ownership”, informational videos from the video library of the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre “Six Steps for Privatizing a Land Plot” and “Privatization of Land Plots in Wartime”.

2. Privatization of land plots.
Citizens and legal entities acquire ownership rights and the right to use land plots from state or municipal property by decision of executive authorities or local self-government bodies within the limits of their powers defined by the Land Code or based on the results of an auction.
Invited guest Lawyer of the Rokada Charitable Foundation, from the project implemented in cooperation with the International Renaissance Foundation Yulia KARPOVETS familiarized applicants with the acquisition of land ownership rights based on civil law agreements and inheritance of land plots.
A civil law contract (agreement) is an agreement between two or more parties aimed at establishing, changing or terminating civil rights and obligations. A civil law contract is concluded in the form of a contract. In particular, agreements may be aimed at transferring ownership rights and alienating a land plot, transferring certain powers of the owner or restricting the owner from exercising certain powers. In accordance with current legislation, the following types of civil law contracts may be concluded regarding land: a purchase and sale contract, a barter contract, a donation contract, a rent contract, a lifetime maintenance contract, a lease contract, a concession contract, a pledge contract, an easement establishment contract, an emphyteusis contract, a superficies contract, a will (inheritance contract).
During the class, students received the necessary knowledge on acquiring land ownership for the development of course and diploma projects and future professional activities.
