From January 31 to February 2, 2024, the college director, deputy directors, heads of departments, heads of cyclical commissions, and heads of structural divisions of the college joined the traditional university training seminar for heads of divisions, scientific and pedagogical and teaching staff online. On the first day, it gathered more than 150 participants in the hall of NUBiP of Ukraine, more than 200 participants joined remotely.
Opening the meeting, the rector Stanislav Nikolayenko, noted that such meetings of our educators, which are attended by the heads of relevant state structures, help to enter the new semester more confidently. Discipline, responsibility, quality of education are key aspects of the work of the University staff.
On the first day, we heard five reports on topical topics.
The first is the professors of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies Olena Kuzminska NUBiP of Ukraine – “Artificial Intelligence in University Education: Banning It is Impossible to Use It.” It was interesting and rich. The speaker was the Deputy Chairman National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education Ivan Nazarov, devoted his speech to post-accreditation monitoring of educational programs. Ruslan Hurak voiced the topical topic “Ensuring the quality of education under martial law.” Anna Pavlenko, head of the Holosiivskyi Department of the Kyiv City Employment Center, analyzed the labor market and presented active employment programs. The voiced topic turned out to be very relevant and sparked discussion.
On the second day, the president was the first to address the academic community NAAS, academician Yaroslav Hadzalo, who covered in detail the issues of the current state and prospects for the development of agricultural science in Ukraine, emphasized the contribution of domestic scientists to ensuring food security, scientific and technological support of the agricultural sector under martial law, and the development of issues of its post-war development.
The Executive Director presented a meaningful report on national grant opportunities and scientific project competitions National Research Foundation of Ukraine Olga Polotska.
The speech of the head of the newly created "Office Horizon Europe in Ukraine" NFDU Igor Taranov regarding the opportunities of Ukrainian participants Horizon Europe Framework Programme.
Later, we heard a presentation on developing the potential of Ukrainian education, youth and sports within the cross-cutting priorities of the EU Erasmus+ Programme – project coordinator National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine Svitlana Shitikova.
The relevance and benefits of open science in universities, in the context of scientists' research Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the director of this scientific institution noted in the report – Iryna Drach.
The issues, expectations and challenges for the country's agricultural sector in implementing the principles laid down in the European Green Deal and the EU Common Agricultural Policy aroused considerable interest among the audience in the report of the project coordinator. Completed the program of the second day of the seminar - training from a doctoral student Institute of Digitalization of Education of the National Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics Iryna Mintii Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University regarding the use of the VoSViewer service for visualizing bibliometric networks.
The third and final day of the university seminar-training for heads of departments, scientific and pedagogical and teaching staff was devoted exclusively to practical aspects of the university's activities, was characterized by dynamism and specific cases.
The executive secretary of the admissions committee reported on the main principles of organizing the 2024 admissions campaign Serhiy Kovalevsky.
The current issues of the features of preparation for accreditation of educational programs in the 2024-2025 academic year were raised in the speeches of the head of the educational and methodological department Larisa Klich and Head of the Graduate Studies Department Vitaliy Vakulenko.
The specifics of organizing practical training for university students were emphasized in the report by the Deputy Head of the Academic Department for Practical Training. Oleg Bachynskyi.
The importance of effective use of the educational portal to support full-time and distance learning was revealed in the speech Maxim Mokriev, head of the center for distance learning technologies.
Professor of the Department of Social Work and Rehabilitation Inna Osadchenko presented the author's methods for implementing a psychodidactic approach to university education in the context of a general emotional crisis. And her colleague is an associate professor of the Department of Psychology Lyudmila Omelchenko vividly reported on the psychological factors of effective pedagogical communication.
The staff of the VSP "RFK NUBiP of Ukraine" is sincerely grateful that, being within the structure of a powerful Ukrainian university, it has the opportunity to participate in such events that inspire, motivate, and provide an understanding of what is happening in education, what tasks to set for ourselves and how to solve them.
