and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine"
Modern employment requirements pose difficult tasks for young people: to find their place in the new realities of the labor market, to be a highly developed person, physically and mentally healthy, and socially adapted in the conditions of fierce competition in the labor market.
Therefore, in order to familiarize young students with the activities of the state employment service, the regional labor market, its requirements, and current vacancies, an information and consultation event was organized and held for future graduates of the Rivne Vocational College of NUBiP of Ukraine with the assistance of its management.
Svitlana Zhovnir, Deputy Head of the Department of Active Support for the Unemployed of the Rivne Branch of the Rivne Regional Employment Center, provided the attendees with information about the complex of social services of the employment service, the main principles of its activities, and electronic services, focusing on the specifics of job search and employment of young people who have just graduated. She emphasized legal employment, outlining its main advantages for employees.
The event participants were interested in information about the Unified Vacancy Portal. New vacancies appear on the portal in real time. The site's functionality allows you to find information about jobs by region, industry, and expected salary level.
In order to learn about their own professional interests and abilities, to plan their professional development and growth, students are recommended to take a test on the Career Guidance and Development Platform profi.dcz.gov.ua.
Those present were introduced to the terms of the government project "eWork", according to the results of which the Rivne region is confidently among the top three.
At the end of the event, Svitlana Zhovnir answered all the questions asked, wished the young people successful employment in the future, and expressed hope that the senior students would confidently take their first steps in their professional careers.
