Online workshop dedicated to the use of innovative technologies in the vocational education system

On December 3, 2024, the International Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), with the support of the Vocational Education Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, held an online workshop dedicated to the use of innovative technologies in the vocational education system

Online seminar on the role of innovative technologies in vocational education and training (VET). The session explored how innovative technologies, such as immersive technologies and artificial intelligence (AI), can improve learning outcomes and improve VET, drawing on examples from OECD countries and evidence of the effective use of technology in VET.

The moderator was Ms. Marike Vandeweyer, Senior Policy Analyst, OECD Skills Centre.

Ms. Olena Gordienko, Program Manager, Head of Commercial L&D, Sigma Software LLC.

The workshop aimed to offer practical ideas on how to use these technologies to support inclusive VET programmes and provided further input into a policy document that will inform Ukraine and support its efforts to develop its VET system.
