Science Coffeehouse is a community and online space where you can acquire new professional knowledge and skills for a donation equal to the price of a coffee.

For the second time, the college's faculty and research staff joined the online Scientific Café "Literary JAM: Do your excellent literature review!!!". The lecturer of the scientific online event was Inna Koblyanska, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration of Sumy State University. The participants from the college were the head of the programming department Iryna Yakymchuk, the college's methodologist, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Vadym Lyulchyk, a lecturer, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Viktor Poznakhovsky, a lecturer of programming and information disciplines, Candidate of Technical Sciences Vasyl Kot, a lecturer of land management disciplines, Candidate of Technical Sciences Petro Bida, and the head of the library and information center Lyudmila Buryachynska.

The following were the current topics for discussion:

– Different types of literary sources in research and their role.

– Where to look for scientific literature?

– How will AI tools help us with this (Which ones? How?)

– Secrets of effective literature search in databases!!!

– Purpose of the literature review (it should not be neglected!)

– What is a good literature review? Key issues.

– Questions and answers???

Therefore, important focuses for writing a scientific publication are the issues of studying scientific literature, analyzing the achievements of science, determining its results and shortcomings, identifying trends in the development of science, discussing the relevance and level of research of the problem, choosing directions and aspects of research, and the reliability and validity of conclusions (results).

Professionally, dynamically, and accessiblely, the event participants received step-by-step video instructions on searching for literature and preparing a literature review, as well as a video recording of the lecture.
