On March 14, 2025, as part of the week of land management disciplines, a forum dedicated to topical issues of spatial development of territories was held. The organizers of the event were the teachers of the cycle commission - Prydatko Oleksandr Mykolayovych and Kyyko Nelya Mykolayivna.
The forum brought together students of the Educational Program "Geodesy and Land Management", as well as invited experts, including:
Victoria KUCHERUK – Head of the Department of Land Relations, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Shpanivska Village Council of the Rivne District.
Natalia MAMCHUR – Head of the Department of Land Relations, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Velyko Omelyansk Territorial Community.
We would like to note that Natalia MAMCHUR and Victoria KUCHERUK are graduates of our college in 1995 and 2002.
The following key topics were discussed during the forum:
Comprehensive spatial development plan for the territory: its significance and development features.
Changing the purpose of land plots: legal aspects and practical nuances.
Other short stories in the field of land relations and spatial planning.
Thus, Prydatko Oleksandr noted in his report that the Comprehensive Spatial Development Plan (CPDP) is a key tool for the sustainable development of territorial communities. It combines urban planning documentation and land management documentation, defining strategic directions for the development of the territory in the long term. CPDP helps to ensure the rational use of land resources, preserve ecological balance, develop infrastructure and create a comfortable environment for people to live. It is important for attracting investment, as it creates predictable conditions for doing business and implementing investment projects.
Viktoriya KUCHERUK shared her experience in developing a comprehensive plan, as the Shpanivska territorial community is the first community to order the development of a CPPR. The development of the plan involves conducting a comprehensive analysis of the territory, determining development priorities, developing a zoning plan, determining restrictions on the use of the territory, and developing measures to implement the plan. An important stage is involving the public in the process of developing the plan, holding public hearings, and taking into account the opinions of local residents.
Natalia MAMCHUR focused on the issues of professional responsibilities of specialists of the department of architecture, landscaping and land relations. The speaker spoke about the development of the Velyko Omelyansk territorial community.
"It is important to take into account the restrictions established by law, in particular, regarding the change of the intended purpose of agricultural lands, forest lands and other categories of lands," Natalia MAMCHUR noted.
The invited experts shared their practical experience and provided valuable advice to students on solving real problems they may encounter in their future professional activities. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive comprehensive answers from specialists.
The forum has become an important platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between future specialists and practitioners in the field of geodesy and land management. Such events contribute to improving the level of professional training of students and their adaptation to modern labor market requirements.
