Sad Holy Evening…
People often leave comments under posts about losses
prayers, reproaches to God.
God doesn't read Facebook.
Nicholas doesn't know how to choose gifts.
Our souls ask for smoke, smoke.
The fire of the righteous.
Sad Holy Evening.
I will ask Nicholas for courage and bravery.
But not here, he doesn't read either.
And there is silence on the street, as if God is silent, or someone's soul is silent.
howl in silence.
They had no blood for a long time, their heart was nourished by the earth.
Maksym Kryvtsov
On January 22, a special commemorative event "There Will Be More" was held in the walls of "Svitlytsia", dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the birth of the poet, warrior and true patriot of Ukraine - Maksym Kryvtsov, known under the pseudonym "Dali", which was attended by students of the 21st group. This event was not only an occasion to remember our hero, but also an opportunity to get to know his work more deeply, which has remained to us as a priceless legacy. Maksym did not live to be 34 years old by 16 days... He died on January 7 as a result of shelling in the Kharkiv region. At the end of January, the President posthumously awarded the poet and military man the Order "For Merit, III Degree."
Maksym Kryvtsov was a soldier, poet and photographer. He loved life. He dreamed of creating. But the war destroyed all plans. The hero not only wrote about the war, he became its participant. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he served as a machine gunner in the Special Operations Forces, defending our land in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Luhansk and Donetsk regions. His life became an example of indomitability, strength of spirit and devotion to his country.
Maksym Kryvtsov was a man who, through his poems, was able to open the door to his own soul – pure, kind and bright. His poetry penetrates the heart, makes you think and see the world through the eyes of someone who knew the true price of life, love and freedom.
The meeting began with a viewing of archival videos from the poet's life. These frames allowed the audience to see Maksym as he was: sincere, open, inspired. His voice, heard in the video, brought the poems he created to life and brought him back to us, even if only for a brief moment.
Those present recited the poet's poems, presented sung poetry, filling the space with melodies that harmoniously combined with the texts. Every word read by young voices sounded like a promise to cherish his memory. The event "There Will Be More" is not only about remembrance, but also about the opportunity to popularize the work of Maksym Kryvtsov. His poetry should become a part of our culture, because it is about us, about our struggle, about our love for life and freedom.
His words, his life, his feat – these are what will live in our hearts. “There will be more” – this is a promise. A promise to remember, protect and continue what he started.
The body of the country is sewn together by the thread of the trench
The shining needle of the cannon works tirelessly
pain like a rock star jumping into the crowd
A sniper sneaks around and sees the world like a cyclops.
I approach the mill, and my steps become lighter, lighter.
Doctor, doctor, doctor! The words fly out of the walkie-talkie.
The city is torn apart. Everything. I write – amputation.
We need an even stronger trench thread.
