Безпека учасників освітнього процесу в пріоритеті – Рівненський фаховий коледж НУБіП України

To teach young people to prevent accidents during the educational process, to act collectedly and decisively, and not to get lost in the event of a fire or other emergency events and situations, on May 8 in VSP "Rivne Professional College of NUBiP of Ukraine" took place joint training with patrol police and State Emergency Service employees. The school management conducts such events systematically as a reminder of the rules of safe living.

Thematic locations awaited students and teachers in the college courtyard and in the assembly hall. First, specialists from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Rivne region introduced everyone present to special equipment and primary fire extinguishing means, as well as told about the types of fire extinguishers and how to use them correctly.

Using the equipment of the Mobile Mine Safety Class, rescuers told those present about the types of ammunition, the algorithm of actions upon their detection, as well as about territories that could be potentially dangerous due to mining, which is extremely relevant during martial law. Rescuers also familiarized those present with the algorithm for providing first aid to the victim, which must be followed in emergency situations. In particular, they demonstrated the technique of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

The students were also shown a fire truck with special equipment used during various emergency events or situations. Everyone who wanted to was able to sit behind the wheel of a fire truck and try on a chemical protection suit.

The final stage of training, which most impressed the students of our college, was the opportunity to hold fire hoses under the pressure of a large stream of water, to try themselves as a firefighter.

At the same time, in the assembly hall of the college for senior students, representatives of the National Police of Ukraine in the Rivne region, among whom was a graduate of our educational institution of the law department Maria Rusilo, conducted training in various areas:

– prevention of road safety offenses;

– traffic rules;

– frequent youth delinquency;

– driving vehicles without a driving license;

– Internet crime.

Overall, the events were interesting and educational, and everyone was convinced that the knowledge they gained could be useful in life.
