Learning from Germany's experience during practical training

The training practice in "Databases" has begun for third-year students of the specialty 121 Software Engineering. During the mastery of the practical training program, students develop a database that will allow them to calculate marginal profit when growing agricultural products.

Under the program of the DAAD project No. 57649162 "Digit 3: Data collection and digitalisation with a focus on University Colleges in 2024", a feature of which was the involvement of colleges of agricultural universities of Ukraine - partners of HSWT (University of Natural Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf), participants mastered topics related to practical data collection at enterprises, the use of the methodology for calculating marginal income in practical farming activities, the use of external sources of information regarding market and price conditions in decision-making, and mastering software for data collection using AgSet.com | Software solutions for agriculture.

Therefore, to discuss and analyze the collected data on agricultural crop production, Iryna Yakymchuk, head of the IT department, invited HSWT teacher Vadym Petrenko. As a participant in this project, he told the students about the collection of production and economic data. According to the teacher of the discipline "Databases" Iryna Yakymchuk and the head of the teaching practice Vitaliy Krupena, this material will help students better study the subject area in order to implement the database and make the calculation of marginal income from the production of agribusiness products more accurate.

After Vadym Petrenko's story and discussion with students and internship leaders, it was decided to hold a joint defense of internship reports after its completion to discuss the tasks implemented by students of groups 31-IP and 32-IP.
