Every year in March, the world celebrates World Poetry Day.

To draw public attention to poetry as a source of answers to many of humanity's questions, as an art form fully open to people, at the 30th session of UNESCO in 1999, a decision was made to celebrate World Poetry Day on March 21 of each year.

Students and teachers of the Higher Educational Service "RFK NUBiP of Ukraine" took part in the flash mob "Poetic Reading" dedicated to World Poetry Day.

It is customary to say that poetry is a condensation of thought and feeling... Ivan Franko called poetry the "crystallization" of life; Lina Kostenko writes "Poetry is always unique, some immortal touch to the soul"... The symbolic sign of poetry, as is known, is the winged horse - Pegasus, because "wingedness" is one of its important qualities. Poetry helps us live together. It is necessary for establishing a dialogue between cultures and for harmonious interaction between different societies. Encouraging poetic creativity, its dissemination and translation is another factor in promoting cultural diversity, a vital source of inspiration, revived by the living unity of the poet in the multifaceted manifestations of his work.

True poetry is immortal. They say that poetry is the voice of truth, the voice of truth. He who hears it is able to rise to the heights of the spirit, to unite a nation, to unite humanity...
