On November 14, two important holidays were celebrated at the Rivne Vocational College of NUBiP of Ukraine - Agricultural Workers' Day and International Students' DayThis event was also made special by opening of a new indoor sports field, which brought together students, teachers, and guests of the institution.
The celebrations began with the raising of the National Flag of Ukraine. The right to raise the flag was granted to a second-year student Andriy RUSYLO, whose father, our graduate, Victor RUSYLO, died defending the independence of Ukraine. And the National Anthem was performed by Yulia LEVCHENKO, first-year students.
The college director, Doctor of Economic Sciences, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. Vasyl TSARUK, who congratulated the students on their holiday, emphasizing the importance of this period of life for personal development and learning. Also Vasyl Yuriyovych noted that Agricultural Workers' Day – this is, in fact, a professional holiday for each of us – because we work and study at an educational institution, which at one time was called agricultural, and later – agrarian. In addition, since 2016, the college has been part of the structure of the most powerful agrarian institution in Ukraine – National University of Life Resources and Environmental Management of Ukraine.
We owe the opportunity to study, celebrate, and enjoy life to those heroes who today, with weapons in their hands, defend our right to independence. Unfortunately, not all of them will return home, not all of them will be able to hug their mother, cuddle their beloved, or hold their daughter or son in their arms. Among those patriots who died defending Ukraine from Russian invaders, there are also graduates of our college. All those present honored their memory and the memory of all those who died defending the independence of our state with a minute of silence.
It is very nice that distinguished guests came to the celebration, including Taras EVSYUKOV – Doctor of Economics, Dean of the Faculty of Land Management of the NUBiP of Ukraine, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the College; Natalia OVDIY – Head of the Department of Regional Development, Coordination of the Activities of the Higher Education Institutions and Correspondence Education of the NUBiP of Ukraine; Maya ANDREYEVA – Chief Specialist of the Department of Vocational and Higher Education of the Education and Science Department of the Rivne Regional State Administration; Oleksandr ALEXIYCHUK – Head of the Rivne Regional Department of the Committee on Physical Education and Sports; Anatoly SOLYAR – Head of the public organization of the All-Ukrainian Physical Culture and Sports Society “Kolos” in the Rivne region; Natalia KROLL – Honored Master of Sports in track and field athletics, two-time European champion, participant in the Olympic Games, graduate of our college.
Taras EVSYUKOV conveyed greetings from the rector of the University to everyone Vadym TKACHUK, President and Chairman of the Academic Council Stanislava NIKOLAIENKA and wished that thousands of competitions and tournaments would be held at the new venue, that there would be winners here, because this is what our warriors fight for every day. Also Taras Oleksiyovych presented a gift from the rector and the University staff - a wonderful uniform for the college volleyball team and a ball.
Natalia OVDIY greeted everyone present from Happy Agricultural Workers' Day and International Students' Day, thanked everyone involved in the opening of the sports ground, because such events allow us to feel the war as little as possible at this time. “You are incredibly talented athletes and the opening of the ground will give you even more opportunities to achieve new victories,” said Ms. Natalia.
Maya ANDREYEVA, Oleksandr ALEXIYCHUK, Anatoliy SOLYAR, Natalia KROL They also expressed their congratulations to the teaching staff and students of the college, presented them with gifts, and wished them strength, health, encouragement, and optimism.
Certificates of the Rivne Regional Department of the Committee on Physical Education and Sports awarded Tatyana KOVALIOVA, head of the volleyball sports club (girls); Vladyslav KROTYUK, teacher, member of the college chess team; Volodymyr KHRYSTIANOVYCH, teacher, head of a chess and checkers sports club; Sofia KRUCHOK, a student in the 11th group, a member of the college chess team; Maksym RYZHYK, a student in the 12-D group, a member of the college track and field team; Olesya DANILYUKA, a student of the 12th grade, a member of the college chess team.
During the celebrations Honorary certificates of NUBiP of Ukraine were awarded Tetyana KRYSTOPCHUK – teacher of Ukrainian language and literature, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, head of the cyclical commission of humanitarian disciplines and Olena CHERNACHUK-SEMENISHYNA – the college's chief accountant.
On the occasion On the Day of Agricultural Workers, the following were awarded college diplomas: Oksana KUDELYA, teacher of programming and information disciplines; Alla PETRYKOVSKA, teacher of construction disciplines; Oksana CHERNACHUK, teacher of economic disciplines; Olga CHORNOBRIVA, teacher of legal disciplines.
The College's Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to: Oleksandr KUSHNIRUK, teacher of land management disciplines; Yuriy NOVAK, teacher of programming and information disciplines; Stepan SHAPERCHUK, teacher of construction disciplines.
On the occasion On International Students' Day, the following students were awarded college diplomas:: BARANCHUK Anastasia (31-Z); BORCHUK Angelina (31-IP); GOCH Victoria (31-M); KULAY Khrystyna (31-B); MYSKO Yevhen (32-IP); TKACHUK Bohdana (42-Y); SHULHACH Maksym (31-P); YUSENKO Roman (41-D).
The college's thanks were awarded to: GANZHA Ilya (21-Z); DULIK Vitaly (41-Y); KARPENKO Mariana (21-D); KOZYAR Maria (22-K); MATVIYCHUK Bohdan (21-K); PETRUK Polina (21-M); SAMCHUK Artem (31-B); SHEVCHUK Tetyana (5-OB); CHEBOTAROVA Kateryna (31-O).
The pupils prepared a choreographic number for the upcoming holidays contemporary dance studios, operating at the college. Student of the Information Technology Department Angelo KOZLOV performed a vocal number. And the winner of the declaimer competition, a first-year student Artem LEVCHUK dedicated the poem to all our defenders.
So the culmination of the event… The right to officially open our indoor sports field has been granted Vasyl Tsaruka – the college director, Taras Yevsyukov, the chairman of the college's supervisory board and Natalia Krol, Honored Master of Sports in Athletics.
The distinguished guests were invited to the arena for the first kicks, throws and serves. After that, the champions of Ukraine, the champions of the region among institutions of professional pre-higher education – the girls' volleyball team, who, together with the boys' volleyball players, demonstrated a volleyball mix – were also invited to the sports field. And the final stage of the events was the final match for the College Director's Cup, which took place on the football field.
After the celebrations, guests accompanied by the director and deputy director for academic work Lyudmyla BALDYCH inspected the college's facilities and laid flowers at the memorial plaque to the long-time college director Yaroslav Petrovych KORSUN.
The opening of the site became a symbol of the fact that our college supports not only the intellectual development of students, but also their physical activity and healthy lifestyle.
This day left warm memories in the hearts of all those present and united the student community of our college.
