On February 12, 2025, at the VSP "RFK NUBiP of Ukraine", history teacher Vladyslav Krotyuk held an open lesson for students of the 11-D group of the specialty "Construction and Civil Engineering (Building and Structure Decoration and Building Design)" on the topic: "Communism, Fascism and Nazism" in the discipline "History: Ukraine and the World".
The purpose of this lesson was to teach students to identify the features of communism, fascism, and Nazism; to form an idea of political ideology; to know the socio-economic policies of the governments of B. Mussolini and A. Hitler; to understand the features of a totalitarian state; to foster an understanding of the value of human life.
During the lesson, students actively participated in the discussion of problematic issues, boldly expressed their opinions and shared their vision of the prospects for the transformation of modern states from democratic to totalitarian. Having clearly defined the features of fascism, Nazism and communism, having investigated the reasons for the rise of fascists to power in Italy and Nazis in Germany, having analyzed the internal politics of the Nazi and fascist regimes, the students proposed their own ideas for preserving democratic rights and human freedoms in modern states.
