A great poet lives in his works. His image, thoughts and feelings, aspirations and ideals appear before us primarily from what he wrote, what he did for his people. Taras Shevchenko, our Great Kobzar, is one of such poets-luminaries.

He was born on Ukrainian soil, under Ukrainian skies, but became a poet of the entire planet. Shevchenko's word knows no boundaries and borders. It flies to where people yearn for freedom, happiness, and liberty.
We know a lot about the poet, but not everything. It is impossible to get to know him as a person, as an artist, as a poet in a short time. Shevchenko must be studied throughout life. It was under this leitmotif that the student round table "Unknown and Famous Taras Shevchenko" was held as part of the Shevchenko Week, which was organized and conducted by the teachers of the cyclical commission of humanities Fedorchuk O. and Verniuk N.
The following issues were considered during the roundtable:
– Genealogical tree of the Shevchenko family (student of group 12-IP Vezhychanin Andriy);
– The World of Taras Shevchenko's Childhood (student of group 12-IP Baytser Maksym);
– Shevchenko in song, and a song for Shevchenko (student of group 12-IP Pateyev Vadim);
– The Years of Taras Shevchenko's Exile (student of group 12-IP Boyko Oleksandr);
– Woman in the life and work of Taras Shevchenko (student of group 12-IP Shchyglevska Dominika);
– Honoring the memory of Taras Shevchenko in Ukraine and the world (student of group 12-IP Udodishyn Dmytro).
The lyrical mood of the event was added by the performance of a student from the 12th grade of the Shekel group, Maksym, who read poems by Taras Shevchenko.
