Student of the Year 2025

On May 21, 2025, the “Student of the Year 2025” competition was held. The construction department was proudly represented by Oleksandra HORBATYUK, a student of group 31-D of the OPP “Building and Structure Decoration and Construction Design”, as well as Artem SAMCHUK, a student of group 31-B of the OPP “Construction and Operation of Buildings and Structures”. The participants presented their video business cards, competed in an intellectual competition, and also demonstrated their talents to the esteemed jury – Vasyl TSARUK, Lyudmila BALDYCH, Oleksandr TALIMONCHUK, Vadym LYULCHYK. Oleksandra presented a modern dance solo performance for the audience, Artem recited a poem of his own authorship.

SACRED ROMAN TEXTS ARE BURNING

Sacred Roman texts are burning
Not passed on by word of mouth
Murals are being burned in Constantinople
Greek cities are burning

Destroying the temples of Artemis
And they tear down the statues of the gods
The wrestler wanted to stop them.
But I couldn't stop it.

There were several hundred thousand of them.
But against him there is only one warrior
It's like an old good custom
With a sword in hand for several hours

Fought bravely and relentlessly
There is no end to the evil horde
Catching a spear in the broad back
He died with the glory of a wrestler

Whose name we don't know
But we only know one thing for sure
What is so persistent and tireless?
He won't understand the point of fighting.

None of the modern miracle workers
That they like to look deep down like that
And notice the sunbeam
Only as a completely blind person
