On September 16, a seminar for library heads and librarians of separate structural divisions of NUBiP of Ukraine "Libraries during war: how are you?" began at the college.
The purpose of the forum is to discuss the peculiarities of the work of libraries of higher education institutions during the war, consider current problems, prospects and ways to meet the information needs of students and teachers, exchange experience and develop areas for improving the quality and efficiency of the work of libraries of separate divisions of the NUBiP of Ukraine during wartime.
The college director, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor, addressed the seminar participants with a welcoming speech. Vasyl TSARUK, who spoke about the history and achievements of the Higher Educational Service "RFK NUBiP of Ukraine" in recent years. The features of the work of the college's library and information center in war conditions were reported by Lyudmila BURYACHYNSKA, head of the BIT.
Deputy Director of the Scientific Library for Scientific and Library Work Nelly Markova-Pipko gave a presentation "Artificial Intelligence and Libraries: What Do They Have in Common?".
Director of the Scientific Library of the NUBiP of Ukraine Tetyana Kishchak informed the seminar participants about the innovative direction of modern libraries - bibliography tourism.
The program of the first day of the seminar includes a meeting with a Rivne writer, craftswoman, and founder of the publishing house "Creative Book" Elena Medvedeva and a city tour, familiarization with the resources and services of the Rivne Regional Universal Scientific Library.
The college guests also got acquainted with the material and technical base of the Rivne Vocational College of NUBiP of Ukraine.
The seminar was attended by 6 representatives of the scientific library of NUBiP of Ukraine, including Larisa MELNYCHUK, Deputy Director for Information Technology; Anna NOVAKOVA, Larisa ZADERYLOVA and Yevhenia KUBROVSKA, heads of branches of the university's scientific library. From separate structural units, the following joined the discussion of the seminar topic: Olga MYKHAYLYSHYN and Tetyana MALOPINSKA, VSP "Berezhany Professional College of NUBiP of Ukraine"; Natalia MAKARENKO, SE NUBiP of Ukraine "Nizhyn Agrotechnical Institute"; Iryna SKALNYTSKA, VSP "Nizhyn Professional College of NUBiP of Ukraine"; Angela DUBAS, VSP "Boyarsky Professional College of NUBiP of Ukraine"; Natalia GNATYAK, VSP "Zalishchytskyi Vocational College named after Ye. Khraplyvyi NUBiP of Ukraine"; Lesya BAHINSKA and Olena IVANCHYKOVA, VSP "Nemishayiv Professional College of NUBiP of Ukraine".
