February 27, 2025, in accordance with the work plan of the Career Center of the VSP RFK "NUBiP of Ukraine", as part of the week of construction disciplines Svitlana Zhovnir – an experienced career guidance expert, head of the career guidance department of the Rivne Regional Employment Center, with the support of the college administration, held a meeting with students of the construction department for the OPP "Building and Structures Decoration and Building Design", OPP "Construction and Operation of Buildings and Structures", educational and professional degree "Professional Junior Bachelor" and educational degree "Bachelor", OPP "Construction and Civil Engineering" on the topic "At the Start of a Career: From Study to Employment".
Participants learned about trends in the labor market, requirements for candidates, and discussed how to build their careers taking into account modern challenges.
Students had the opportunity to learn about the possibility of receiving microgrants and the key stages of starting their own business. They discussed the importance of a business idea, planning and financing a startup. In addition, they considered how the skills acquired during their studies can help in the development of entrepreneurial activity.
We got acquainted with the electronic services of the Employment Service and substantiated the advantages of legal employment.
