In modern economic conditions, the requirements for training personnel are changing significantly. In particular, the modern level of the economy requires an increase in the level of professionalism and competence of specialists in all industries, which is directly related to the educational process in educational institutions, which annually graduate thousands of young specialists.
The combination of theoretical classes with practical training is an integral part of the process of professional training of future specialists, an effective form of training and aims to consolidate and deepen the knowledge gained by students. The most active form of such cooperation is the meeting of students with future employers directly at the workplace.
On March 13, 2025, lecturer Ellina OBARCHUK held an open field trip class on the discipline of Insurance in the 21-F group of specialty 072 Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market on the basis of UNIQA - one of the leading insurance groups in Austria, Central and Eastern Europe.
Leading specialist Lyudmila NICHEPORUK told the students about the company's management structure, the procedure for generating company income and expenses, and the system of payments for insurance services. Among the main types of insurance services are Auto Insurance (Auto Civil Liability, CASCO), Medical Insurance, Travel Insurance, Property and Liability Insurance, Accident Insurance. The story was interactive, the students were interested in learning about the level of remuneration of insurance agents, they asked about interesting cases in insurance activities, the conditions under which payments for insured events are denied. Particularly interested students were invited to join the cooperation after graduation.
