On March 28, 2025, Borys Holub, head of the Rivne branch of Kumeka Team, visited the college and gave a guest lecture dedicated to the innovative capabilities of the Solana blockchain platform.
Students actively participated in the event, demonstrating their interest in modern technologies and their desire for professional development. During the lecture, college students showed a high level of interest, actively asked questions and discussed the prospects for using blockchain technologies in various fields. This indicates their readiness to master the latest technologies and implement them in their future professional activities.
Students were interested in the technical aspects of the Solana blockchain, its differences from other platforms, as well as the possibilities of applying this technology in real projects. This level of activity emphasizes the students' desire for a deep understanding of the subject and their motivation for independent learning.
Special attention was paid to upcoming hackathons, which will be a great opportunity for students to apply their knowledge in practice, working on real projects and competing for cash prizes from the general prize fund in $200 000.

These courses and workshops are available online and open free for NUBiP students, helping them improve their skills and better prepare for hackathons.
Kumeka Team offers a scholarship $1000 for the team that will participate in the hackathon (April 14 – May 16, 2025 year) and submit a project that meets the requirements. In addition, participants will have a chance to receive grant to $10 000 to develop your project.
