"Let the fields delight with harvest under the peaceful sky of Ukraine." To the Day of Agricultural Workers

On November 13, the leading librarian Andriychuk S. V. held a thematic event “Let the fields delight with harvest under the peaceful sky of Ukraine” dedicated to the Day of Agricultural Workers in the library and information center of the college. The event was attended by students of the 21-Z group, curator Malymon S. S. From the thematic presentation, those present received various information about agriculture, in particular about agricultural crops grown in Ukraine.

Crops have been important to humanity since ancient times. Agriculture has been an alternative to gathering and hunting since primitive people discovered fire and realized that cooked grains tasted better. Later, growing various types of crops became part of agribusiness.

This year, the most profitable crop in Ukraine was sunflower, with a profit per hectare of about 50 thousand UAH, and a profitability level of more than 160%. Winter rapeseed took second place with a profit per hectare of about 36 thousand UAH and a profitability level of 111%. Corn came in third with a profit of over 31.5 thousand UAH/ha and a profitability level of 82%. Then came soybeans with 23.7 thousand UAH/ha and 74%.

We sincerely congratulate all agricultural workers on their professional holiday! We wish you patience, good health, abundant harvests and peaceful skies!

To mark the memorable date, a thematic book exhibition "Agriculture of Ukraine - Achievements and Problems" was opened in the college's library and information center.
