Access to scientometric databases of NUBiP of Ukraine

Dear users of the library and information center!

Scientific Library of NUBiP of Ukraine provides scientists, teachers, and students of our college, as a structural unit of the university, with open access to scientometric and universal abstract databases.

SCOPUS is an abstract and scientometric database of peer-reviewed literature and verified web sources. The SCOPUS database indexes about 22,000 titles of various publications (including 55 Ukrainian ones) from more than 5,000 publishers.

Access to the scientometric and universal abstract database SCOPUS published by Elsevier is provided from the university's local network using the following vocation.

NUBiP of Ukraine also has open access to one of the largest scientometric databases Web of Science (WoS). This is an abstract scientometric database of scientific publications, offering access to bibliographic data of scientific articles from prestigious periodicals, books and scientific conference proceedings, indicating the actual citation rate of these materials. Access to Web of Science – from the university’s local network via address.

The university gained access to full-text resources (e-books) of the database Science Direct. It is one of the largest online collections of published scientific research. The collection contains almost 12 million content items from more than 3,500 journals and over 34,000 e-books, reference books, and scholarly collections.

With the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine within the framework of the project Research4Life Ukrainian scientists gained access to electronic resources from the world's leading publishing houses. Research4Life -tsis a project organized in the format of a public-private partnership by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the International Labor Organization (ILO), Cornell and Yale Universities, as well as the International Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers.
