Andriy Polotsky, a 4th year student at our college, originally from the city of Rivne, is a true example of perseverance and sportsmanship. Having started swimming at the age of 5 on the recommendation of doctors due to back problems, Andriy turned this activity into his lifelong passion. Thanks to hard work and dedication to sports, he not only improved his health, but also achieved significant success in the sports arena.
Today, Andriy is a member of the Ukrainian national swimming team. During his studies at the college, he repeatedly represented our educational institution at regional and all-Ukrainian competitions, winning prizes.
Among his greatest achievements is a gold medal at the Ukrainian Championship, which was held from July 24 to 27, 2024 in Lviv. Andriy competed in the 200-meter backstroke among juniors under the guidance of coaches Iryna Petrovna Lebid and Taras Valeriyovych Mashanenkov. In the competition, our region took second place overall.
On September 1, Andriy will speak to freshmen to share with them the importance of sports, particularly swimming, and how to achieve success and become a shining example for the college.
His story inspires junior students and proves that hard work can turn challenges into great victories. We are proud to have such a talented athlete among us, and we wish Andriy new achievements in sports and studies!
