In February 2025, the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announced an all-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference with international participation "Current problems of preschool, primary and special education in the context of crisis challenges of society."
The conference in May 2025 was attended by scientists, teachers of preschool, primary and special education institutions, as well as organizations whose activities are related to the issues raised at the conference, and higher education students of the second (master's) and third (educational and scientific) levels of higher education.
Such a conference aims to create a platform for discussing current issues and challenges in the field of preschool, primary and special education; stimulating the interest of education seekers and young scientists in research in the outlined field; discussing new problems and trends faced by specialists in preschool, primary and special education in the context of crisis challenges in society, paying special attention to inclusion.
This gives a great impetus to the partnership between scientific institutions, educational institutions, state structures and international organizations in order to restore educational services in regions affected by military actions; ensuring high-quality education in conditions of instability, transforming didactic systems in conditions of digitalization, stimulating the formation of a psychological and pedagogical space for professional training of teachers in the realities of the war period. The head of the cyclical commission of construction disciplines Iryna CHORNA, in order to ensure pedagogical support for students with special educational needs in educational institutions in conditions of martial law in the OPP "Equipment of buildings and structures and building design", as well as the OPP "Construction and operation of buildings and structures", took part in this conference, which was held on May 14-15, 2025 at the Kherson State University (Faculty of Pedagogy).

Professor and Director of the Institute of Educational Sciences of the University of Basel (Basel, SWITZERLAND) Olena MAKAROVA shared her experience with the work: "Science in Action: Educational Initiatives in Support of Ukrainians."
Ruslan Vasilyevich Malinoshevsky, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Researcher, Deputy Director of the Institute of Educational Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for Scientific Work, supplemented the conference proceedings with a report on the topic: "Upbringing in Times of Trials: How Education Becomes a Support for a Child."
Chorna Iryna Vasylivna, Candidate of Technical Sciences, teacher-methodologist of the construction department of the Higher Educational Service "RFK NUBiP of Ukraine" revealed the issue of preserving the health of education seekers as a social value and a necessary condition for development and self-determination in war conditions.
Participation in conferences of this format makes it possible to consolidate the efforts of participants in the educational process towards the full socialization of students with special privileged categories and educational needs in wartime conditions.
