For the first time, the educational and professional program "Software Engineering" of the Higher Educational Service "RFK NUBiP of Ukraine" (ID in EDEBO 34070), which recruited applicants for higher education with a Bachelor's degree, was approved in 2018 and successfully passed accreditation by the National Agency for Education Quality Assurance in June 2020.
The program was created in the absence of an education standard, the term of study was two years based on the educational and qualification level "Junior Specialist". In 2019, the program underwent changes, as the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 10/29/2018 No. 1166 introduced a higher education standard in the specialty F2 "Software Engineering" for the first (bachelor's) level of higher education. Therefore, the term of study was increased to three years.
During 2020-2024, in the process of implementing the educational and professional program "Software Engineering", the working group was and is in constant contact with employers and other stakeholders, the main of which are IT companies in the region, the IT-oriented public service Rivne IT Cluster, Rsvne IT Education, representatives of the college's student self-government bodies, etc. Accordingly, the program is constantly being updated and modernized in order to meet the modern requirements of the IT industry and employers.

Meeting of the cyclical commission of programming and information disciplines to discuss the draft of the educational and professional program "Software Engineering"
The educational and professional program "Software Engineering" of the Bachelor's degree program annually undergoes a process of updating. This is due to the rapid development of information technologies, the current state of the economy and the realities of the time. Martial law in Ukraine has a great impact, which reduces the need for IT specialists. But the college, in particular, the programming department, understands that it is necessary not to stop and to compare itself with the experience of countries around the world.
Since the previous accreditation of the OPP "Software Engineering" (2020), many changes have occurred. Such changes are due to meetings with stakeholders who influence the content of the OPP. During the meetings, projects of the educational and professional program "Software Engineering" for the educational and professional degree of a professional junior bachelor were discussed.
Participation in IT hackathons, membership in the Public Organization "Rivne IT Cluster" and "Rivne IT Education" influenced the introduction of changes in the curricula of the OPP. The approval of the educational standard for the OS "Bachelor" in the specialty F2 Software Engineering allowed to clearly formulate the goal of the OPP and the matrix of correspondence of general and special components to the learning outcomes.
Meetings with stakeholders, representatives of IT companies, made it possible to implement the features of the OPP and determine the list of selected components. The constant holding of final conferences based on the results of industrial practices allowed organizing and holding an IT marathon, which allows for the practical application of acquired IT competencies in combination with various areas of work of enterprises in Rivne and the region and even beyond its borders. The circles "Programmer", "Computer Graphics", "Robotics and IoT of Things" allow implementing the tasks of employers and describing the research conducted in the circles' classes, in theses and articles, as materials for various types of scientific and practical conferences. All the results of the events were considered in March of each year at the meetings of the cyclic commission of programming and information disciplines.
Participation in the international DAAD project No. 57649162 "Support of the digitalization of Ukrainian agricultural universities (2)" with the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences became an occasion to add the educational component "Engineering and Technologies in the Agricultural Industry" and allowed to expand the topics of course and diploma theses.
The main conclusion after the meeting of the cyclical commission on programming and information disciplines in March 2024 is the following: the version of the educational and professional program approved in 2023 is relevant, meets the standards of professional pre-higher education and the needs of employers, in connection with which it was decided to continue its use without significant changes. However, it is necessary to make changes to the curriculum of the educational and professional program in order to fulfill the requirements of the new Model Regulation on the Organization of the Educational Process in Institutions of Professional Pre-Higher Education and the Regulation on Practical Training of Applicants for Professional Pre-Higher Education, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 02.05.2023 No. 510.
The compliance of the educational program components with the requirements of the F2 Software Engineering specialty standard, modern product IT, and the status of corrections of the comments and suggestions of the expert group and the industry expert council that were provided during the previous accreditation examination were analyzed in detail.
