Art in Action: A Fascinating Journey into the World of Creativity

November 20 students of the 11th grade group together with a supervisor Iryna BONDARCHUK visited the gallery of European painting "Euro-Art", which opened in the city of Rivne on June 9, 2011.

Introduced students to the art of the 19th–20th centuries. The four halls of the gallery present paintings by Western European and Ukrainian artists with world names: V. Orlovsky, A. Bredov, D. Burliuk, O. Novakivsky, S. Shyshko, F. Manayl, A. Kotsky, E. Erb, E. Kontratovych, O. Shovkunenko, T. Desire, T. Rousseau, P. Kalman, J. Sant, J. Brax, L. Delderen, J. Veshyn, J. Simons, V. Volpe, J. Kamikh and others.

In galleries, students have the opportunity to see a wide range of artistic styles, techniques, and forms. This helps develop an understanding of harmony, composition, color, and other principles that are important not only for artists but also for anyone who seeks to better understand visual culture. Aesthetic perception makes a person more sensitive to beauty in everyday life.

For students, this is an opportunity to see how art has influenced society and vice versa, and how it has evolved. In particular, art stimulates the imagination, awakens new ideas and helps to look at the world from a different angle. An engineer can come up with an innovative design, a writer - an original plot, and an entrepreneur - a new approach to work, inspired by what they see. Also, visiting a gallery stimulates analytical skills, the ability to interpret information and draw conclusions. This is important for any profession, because critical thinking is the basis of decision-making. And let's not forget about emotional release. "Euro-Art" are places where you can feel inner peace, get away from everyday worries and immerse yourself in the world of beauty and ideas. The feelings that artworks evoke help students better understand themselves, their emotions and thoughts. And observing works that reflect other cultures or experiences helps develop empathy and understanding of different points of view.

Seeing brilliant creations can help students understand that great achievements require hard work, dedication, and love for their work. This can be a powerful motivator for development in their own field.
