For students of group 21-B of the construction department, specialty 192 "Construction and Civil Engineering", an open educational event dedicated to the issues of environmental challenges for construction industry specialists was held in classroom No. 17, supervised by Iryna Chorna.
The main goal of the lesson is to introduce students to the concept of sustainable development as a result of combining three main points of view: economic, social, and environmental.
Students watched the presentation, participated in the discussion of modern construction trends within the framework of environmental friendliness and energy conservation. They gained skills in designing a sustainable city or eco-city, taking into account the impact on the environment, inhabited by people who seek to minimize energy, water and food consumption, eliminate reckless heat generation, and air pollution with carbon dioxide and methane.
The event was attended by teachers of the cyclical commission of construction disciplines.
The students and attendees showed high interest and activity in the discussion, asking questions related to the practical side of eco-building. The goal set by the curator was achieved.
