At the beginning of 2016, a new structural unit was created in the Separate Structural Unit "Rivne Professional College of the National University of Life Resources and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine" - "Computer and Information Center".

The main tasks of this structure are:

ensuring the educational process of college students in computer laboratories and offices;
creation and maintenance of automated college management systems (student and employee registration, document management, archives, libraries and other business activities);
development and implementation of modern information and innovative technologies in the college.

The Computer Information Center organizationally unites employees who perform work to ensure the educational process in computer laboratories, as well as to maintain computers and software in the services and departments of the college.

The Computer and Information Center includes the following structural divisions:

computer laboratories;
computer rooms;
publishing laboratory.

Computer lab staff include laboratory managers and laboratory assistants.

The schedule of computer laboratories is coordinated with the educational part to optimize the use of computer equipment in the educational process. The priorities when forming the schedule of computer laboratories are as follows:

to provide specialized classes in computer disciplines (basics of computer science, computer technology and programming, computer graphics, etc.);
to ensure that classes in other disciplines are held that involve the use of computer equipment when considering individual topics or sections of the course;
Provide hours for independent work by students and college teachers to prepare for classes.

The Computer and Information Center is responsible for supporting and maintaining the college's automated management systems (student and employee registration, document management, library and other business activities), supporting presentations, seminars, conferences and other events with projection equipment, collecting, summarizing and systematizing teachers' applications for technical teaching aids and drawing up a schedule for providing educational classes with technical teaching aids on this basis, and maintaining the college's official website on the Internet and the educational institution's profiles on social networks.

The Computer and Information Center coordinates the work on introducing elements of distance education and cloud services into the educational process. Employees of the Computer and Information Center are involved in the formation of an electronic database of educational and methodological materials, provide consultations and assist college employees in the creation and implementation of distance learning technologies.

The publishing laboratory provides preparation for printing and printing of educational and methodological, scientific literature, informational, campaigning and regulatory materials of the college. The publishing laboratory provides publishing of literature, in accordance with the thematic areas of the College's work, together with the educational part, draws up a plan for the release of this literature and monitors its implementation.
