As part of the "16 Days Against Violence" campaign, law teachers Oksana LYAKHOVYCH, Olga CHORNOBRYVA, and Oksana BASYUK held an open educational event for students of the 12th group called "Ukraine Without Violence." The main goal was to raise awareness among young people about the problem of violence, its types, consequences, and ways to prevent it.

The event began with a discussion that violence is a negative phenomenon that has accompanied humanity for millennia, but it should not be perceived as the norm. Participants were told about the types of violence: physical, sexual, psychological and economic. Attention was paid to real-life examples, which helped students better understand the scale and manifestations of this problem.

The event used interactive methods: watching videos, discussing real-life situations. Students learned to recognize signs of violence, formulate effective ways to counter it, and received clear instructions on where to seek help in case of its manifestation.

During the event, participants discussed the importance of respecting the dignity of every person, learned about their own rights enshrined in the Constitution of Ukraine and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Special attention was paid to the topic of child abuse, which is considered one of the most serious forms of violence.

The event "Ukraine without Violence" became not only a source of new knowledge for young people, but also an impetus for understanding the problem of violence in society. It focused on the need for changes in attitudes towards others, the formation of a culture of respect and readiness to help those who find themselves in a difficult situation.

Holding such events is extremely important, as they not only inform, but also educate a conscious generation capable of resisting violence and building a society in which respect and humanity reign.
