Students gained an important experience that prompted deep reflection 21-Z, 22-D and 23-IP, who, as part of the week of humanities, watched the film at the Rivne Regional Universal Scientific Library Lubomyr Levytskyi "We were recruits."
This film is striking in its depth and emotional richness. The film is based on the stories of real soldiers of the 3rd Assault Brigade, and the film itself consists largely of videos that the soldiers shot on the battlefield. The film's director offers viewers a unique look at the difficult realities of military service through the prism of young people who have just joined the army.
One of the film's greatest strengths is its ability to convey an atmosphere of fear, uncertainty, and hope. Lubomyr Levitsky skillfully shows how the characters face physical and psychological challenges that shape their character.
“We Were Recruits” is not only a story about war, but also about friendship, self-discovery and maturity. The actors demonstrated real emotions that made each of us think about the price of peace and human relationships in war. The film encourages reflection on the values and choices that young people face in difficult times.
After watching the film, the students had the opportunity to discuss the film with the film’s director, Lubomyr Lewycki. The students actively shared their thoughts and feelings with the film’s author, which showed how much this topic concerns them. Many of them noted that the film gave them a new perspective on war and its consequences. This is a noteworthy work that leaves a deep mark.
