Computer design practice for students of the 21-D group

October 31, 2024 took place practical lesson in the discipline "Technology" in the 21-D group on the topic "Implementation of a design project for technological activity objects". Teacher Halyna Buslenko invited her colleague, a teacher of information technology and computer design, to collaborate Pavlo Stryk.

Pavlo Stryk presented a presentation on "Computer Design", explaining the main areas of this field, in particular, web design, graphic design, animation, industrial design and user interface design. He explained how computer design combines art and engineering, which allows you to create products that are not only functional, but also aesthetically attractive. The importance of computer design in various areas was emphasized: from business, where logos, websites and marketing materials are created, to the entertainment industry, where design is used in films, video games and animation projects.

After the theoretical part of the lesson, the students moved on to practice. Under the guidance of Halyna Buslenko and Pavlo Stryk They worked on their own mini projects, creating business cards, logos, and simple graphic elements. This involved using modern computer-aided design tools, as well as artificial intelligence. Students were able to use AI-based graphic generation tools such as Leonardo.ai, Firefly, and Canva. Pavlo Stryk explained how these services can help create design elements using ready-made templates or develop original graphic images taking into account current trends.

The importance of quality branding was also emphasized, where the logo, fonts, and colors create a unique brand image and contribute to its identification among competitors. Halyna Buslenko supported the practical part of the class, helping students work with colors, fonts, and general style, which is the basis for developing visually appealing materials.

The class was held in an open dialogue format, which allowed students to ask questions about the application of computer design in professional activities. The lecturers emphasized that thanks to the knowledge gained, students will be able to work more confidently with graphic editors, develop advertising materials, and use the capabilities of artificial intelligence to improve their own projects.
