Where, God, did you temper these people?
In which forges? And from what steel?
For they have no rest, neither by night nor by day,
Like titans, truly resilient.
They are often knocked off their feet by fatigue,
Because they exchanged their peace for hell.
They have no holidays or weekends,
But there are, at the same time, life-giving forces.
They, with their souls, only desire good,
For the fatherland and for the people,
Because without will, what is their life worth?
Under the blue sky?
That's why they took the machine gun in their hands,
Without hesitating even for a minute.
Shoulder to shoulder in the battle, beating hearts,
Against the enemy, for mother Ukraine.
They are our glorious Armed Forces of Ukraine,
Someone's husbands, fathers and children,
Who stand to the end, to the death, in battle,
Often pierced by winds and bullets.
Together we are all a hundred times stronger,
Don't lend them your faith and enthusiasm.
And although their home is from the East to the Carpathians,
All are brothers by blood.
They walk, through the night - straight ahead.

The presentation of Elena Medvedeva's book "Heroes-Titans" took place in the city's House of Culture. This book is not only about zeal, victory, willpower, love for family, Motherland, courage, bravery... It is about the heroism of true warriors, glorious fathers, volunteers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, heroes of our time, heroes-titans.
"Stories through tears, love through pain," says the author, Rivne writer and artist Elena Medvedeva, about the book. The six stories collected in this memory album are recorded from the words of the wives of fallen soldiers: Oleksandr Muravskyi, Vasyl Ivaniuk, Oleksiy Romanchuk, Andriy Marchuk, Andriy Khyzhnyak and Ihor Stasyuk.
The presentation was attended by children, mothers, and wives of fallen heroes, who remembered their loved ones with tenderness and sadness.
From the memoirs of the wife of Oleksandr Muravsky (call sign "Advokat"): "At the moment of notification of Sasha's death, I was on the balcony. After hearing the words about my husband's death, I simply slid down the wall... My eldest son came, then Innusya. They didn't even ask what happened, because they understood everything. What terrible events our children have to go through! They grew up in a second..."
From the memoirs of the wife of Vasyl Ivanyuk (call sign "Kotyk"): "He left military clothes on the doorstep, he didn't bring them into the house, because they retained the smell of war. And family is sacred, it is peace in the house."
From the memoirs of the wife of Oleksiy Romanchuk (call sign "Aloha"): "If I could, I would bow the sky for him. He gave me the most important thing - love. He gave a lot. He taught me to love, to see that love and share it. Love exists. Now I know for sure what it is. When you want to give a person more than you have - that's love."
From the memoirs of the wife of Andriy Marchuk (call sign "Rybachok"), recorded by the author of the memory album: "A valuable photo for a woman is a moment of Andriy's love for her - a phrase written on the ground from bullet casings: "I love you." The last message from him: "Even if thousands of kilometers separate us, remember that I love you more than the distance between us." Andriy Marchuk died on September 1, an hour short of his 33rd birthday.
From the memoirs of the wife of Andriy Khyzhnyak (call sign "Baracuda"): "Our youngest daughter knows her dad only from photographs. And she says that she has two of them - one at home (in the photo), and one in the sky. She runs past the photo - gives him a kiss and runs on. Now we "send" hearts to him every day before going to bed with the little one..."
From the memoirs of the wife of Igor Stasiuk (call sign "Joker"): "Before the fight, he talked a lot. He said that anything could happen. The task was not easy. No one had done this before, we were the first, and it was unknown whether we would return."
A video of the memory album presentation is available at by reference.
The memory album was kindly signed by the author and donated to the college's BIC.
These are the Hero-Titans, real men, romantics, charismatic, purposeful, loyal, loving, tolerant, brave, wise...
Appreciate, cherish the bright memory, Glory to the Heroes!!!!
Take them, God, under your care,
Cover the heavens with an invisible shield,
Because even the titans – keep them forever!
