Diana Skoropada, a graduate of the economics department, presented her first attempts at writing at the college. The poetry collection “At the Call of the Soul” has just been published and has already found its reader. Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Lyudmila Baldych, Head of the Economics Department Iryna Martynova, teachers, and librarians are sincerely happy about the successes of the talented graduate.
The annotation to the book states: “People come to literature in different ways. Some overcome this stretch alone, indirectly, while others often have to take detours, fight their way through thorns, stumble, in order to finally reach the doors of the temple of Calliope – the goddess of singing and the patroness of epic poetry in ancient Greek mythology… There is no doubt: what Diana wrote does not always reach perfection. But one thing remains indisputable: her poems are permeated throughout with genuine sincerity and frankness.”
While still in college, Diana was an active participant in many creative activities. She performed well in the library project "Chronicle of Alma Mater Talents", starred in the touching video "Mother's Heart", recited poems, performed at student concerts, etc.
