TOURIST TRIP "SUNNY TRANSCARPATHIA"

On October 18-20, 2024, students of the economics department of groups 21-P and 21-F went on an unforgettable tourist trip to "Sunny Transcarpathia" (organizers T. V. Kupchyshyna, O. E. Talabska).

Transcarpathia is a whole treasure chest of unexplored opportunities and beautiful places that make us look at Ukraine in a new way.

Tustan – a fortress of the Carpathian defense line of Kyivan Rus, which was built in the 9th century. on the rocks of the ancient Russian city of Urych. Its purpose was customs control on the “silk” and “salt” routes. The fortress is a unique structure that has no analogues in the world.

Bunker in the village of Verkhnia Hrabivnytsia – one of the best preserved monuments of World War II on the so-called "Arpad Lines"", the most powerful defensive structure of the Second World War, which stretched for about 600 km along the main Carpathian ridge.

One of the most beautiful places in the Carpathians – Mount Gimba, which is located at an altitude of 1491 m above sea level, is one of the highest in the Polonyna Borzhava mountain range. This peak impresses with its gigantic size, attractive panorama and beauty. The students received a lot of positive and extreme from the trip to the mountain in jeeps.

There are 32 lakes in Transcarpathia, but the most attractive and charming is Lake Synevyr. This is the highest and largest lake in Transcarpathia, which is popularly called "The Eye of the Sea" and is considered the most precious natural treasure and one of the visiting cards of the Ukrainian Carpathians. Located at an altitude of 989 m above sea level. In the middle of the lake there is an island that resembles the pupil of the eye, and on a small peninsula there is a 13-meter wooden composition "Blue and Whirlpool". Surrounded by the majesty of mountain trees, the lake beckons, as if possessing an unknown magical power. There is a special aura and an unusual atmosphere here that will be remembered forever.

On the territory of the Synevyr National Nature Park, the students visited a rehabilitation center for brown bears, which houses animals that have been subjected to harsh treatment or kept in captivity without appropriate conditions. Work is underway here to restore the natural population of bears. They also visited the "Valley of the Wolves" ecopark. This is a unique project for the rehabilitation of wild animals, which combines the protection and care of wild animals. In addition to wolves, there are also animals unique to the Carpathians: camels, alpacas, llamas.

Shypit Waterfall is a pearl of Transcarpathia. It is the largest waterfall in the Carpathians, which does not freeze in winter and does not dry out in summer. Falling from a 14-meter height, the waterfall breaks against stones and flows not in a powerful stream, but in small streams. Therefore, it does not thunder like others, but as if whispering.

The natural wealth of the mountains, noisy waterfalls, ringing streams, crystal clear water - all this fascinates and attracts.

A tourist trip through sunny Transcarpathia left pleasant and unforgettable emotions, and opened up many new fantastic landscapes of the Ukrainian Carpathians.
