On October 26, 2024, as part of the work of the "Mobile Device Programming" group, under the leadership of Valchyshyn S. P. and Smal V. I., an event was organized on the topic "Programming the iOS operating system". The event was dedicated to analyzing the basics of programming for iOS. The speakers covered such important aspects as the use of the Swift language, the Xcode development environment, and architectural approaches in creating mobile applications.
The group leaders, Valchyshyn Stepan and Smal Vitaliy, shared practical experience and real examples of creating applications, which allowed students to better understand the modern requirements for specialists in this field.
Results and conclusions:
• Students gained basic knowledge of iOS application development.
• We got acquainted with the features of using Swift and Xcode.
• Learned about architectural solutions in mobile development.
• Discussed career prospects in iOS development.
• There was an active discussion and exchange of views among the participants.
Future plans: The event was useful, especially for students who plan to work in the field of mobile programming. Participants expressed interest in further meetings, including in the format of master classes and practical workshops. It is planned to organize further events dedicated to the detailed study of specific technologies in mobile programming.
