From October to November 2024, young people from different countries participated in International competition in computer graphics and web design "CreDiCo"This competition provided a great opportunity for talented young people to showcase their original designs and exchange ideas in the fields of computer graphics, animation, and web design.
The organizers of the competition there is a Laboratory for the Use of Information Technologies in Education at the Department of Informatics Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko (Ukraine), Department of Cybernetics and Applied Mathematics Uzhhorod National University (Ukraine), Bridgewater State University (USA), Tbilisi Free University (Georgia), Jan Dlugosz Academy (Poland), Maltepe University (Turkey).
The main goal of the competition – providing young people with a platform to demonstrate their abilities and communicate in the professional community. Participants were divided into three age groups: schoolchildren aged 14-17, students of vocational and technical education institutions, and students of higher education institutions.
Theme "Magical Dreams" – inspired the participants to create incredible works. They presented their creative ideas, from personal fantasies and dreams to abstract concepts that reflect the interaction of man with the magical world and fantastic creatures.
The competition covered four categories:
- Computer graphics (raster, vector, photo collage, 3D graphics);
- Computer animation;
- Web design (graphic design, information content, software implementation);
- Visual programming.
Participated in the competition 587 participants from Ukraine, Ireland, Poland and Lithuania. Of these, 245 are schoolchildren, 105 are students of vocational education institutions and 237 students of higher education institutionsParticipants submitted over 680 original works.
