International Clean Beach Day is held on September 21, 2024. These September events in the third decade of the month have a traditional annual character. Thus, on the 3rd weekend of September, most countries of the world hold an environmental event "International Clean Beach Day". In particular, on this day, actions are held on the coasts of rivers, seas and oceans to prevent pollution of the world's water resources with household waste. Traditionally, students of specialty 193 "Geodesy and Land Management" joined the international event.
Event organizers: ecology teacher Stefania MALIMON and geodesy teacher Olga PETROVA.
Participants: students of groups 21-C and 22-C.
This year's location: Rivne city hydropark.
The main goal of the campaign – forming a culture of proper waste management and responsible consumption of natural resources among young people, joining forces for an ecological future.
Students cleaned the areas around the park's reservoirs, because reservoirs are our natural wealth and they need protection and careful treatment.
All participants of the campaign have a special wish for citizens - clean up the coastal protection strips along rivers and around water bodies after your vacation, because it is not difficult to do this. Let's remember that a clean shore is a healthy water body, and the future of our water bodies is in our hands!
