May 2025 was declared a month of events in the country within the framework of the All-Ukrainian mental health program "How are you?", and last week was called the National Week of Barrier-Freedom. A practical psychologist conducted a number of events with students of the NUBiP College, namely an hour of communication on the topic "A country without barriers, we are equal", the purpose of which was to familiarize students with the concepts of barrier-freedom, awareness of the life problems of people who need special attention and mercy. The event took place in the psychologist's office, where students from different departments, during the game "I AM A WITNESS", could immerse themselves in unusual life situations and, during the discussion, with the help of a psychologist, learned to solve problems, easily overcome difficulties related to communication, help, etc.
Also, at the initiative of the head of the economics department Iryna Martynova, the college curator and teacher Lyubov Protasevich, as part of this project for first-year students, group 11-P, an educational and psychological lesson with elements of training on the topic "Mosaic of Tolerance" and an interactive psychological quest "Marathon of Good Deeds" were held. Their goal was to raise students' awareness of the importance of kindness and tolerance in educational activities, improve team interaction and the psychological climate in the team. Thanks to various individual exercises and training work in groups, students were involved in reflection, learned to show empathy in everyday life and towards each other, support and apply a sincere, creative, and relaxed approach to communication and learning.
As psychologist Iryna Garnaga noted: "The lesson is not only about good deeds, the concept of barrier-freeness, but also about internal transformation, about finding joy in simple things, supporting each other, about open hearts filled with warmth and kindness, especially in such a difficult time for every Ukrainian, when even the smallest good deed or sincere support can change the world around us."
