On October 7, 2024, teachers and students of specialty 193 "Geodesy and Land Management" joined an open lecture / seminar by the chief project manager of the company PROFPOLIV Serhiy LOGVINA.
“Industrial production of fruits and berries is a complex system built on the integrated use of natural, material, financial and labor resources, which in market conditions must ensure high economic efficiency,” noted Serhiy Logvin. One of the main components of this complex is water, which directly affects the yield of fruit and berry products, but as a valuable natural resource requires careful treatment.
The issue of proper, effective organization of irrigation of perennial crops using European technologies was discussed at today's event. During the speech, the lecturer introduced the audience to modern technologies for growing perennial garden crops, in particular apple trees, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries both in open ground (orchards and berry bushes) and in protected ground (greenhouses) using automated irrigation and fertigation.
It should be noted that the company "ProfPolyv" was founded in 2016 and is part of the "EFT GROUP" group of companies. The main direction is the design and installation of high-quality systems for automating the drip irrigation process in farms growing organic fruit and berry crops, using the best global practices and high standards of production infrastructure.
