On March 6, college students visited the Rivne Regional Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater and watched the dramatic play "Earth" based on the work of Olga Kobylyanska. This is a story about the power of the earth, human passions, and fatal decisions that change destinies.
The main character, Sava, longs to own the land, but the price he pays is too high — betrayal, fratricide, a sin weighing on the soul. The production successfully conveys the atmosphere of peasant life and the deep internal conflict of the characters.
“Around us is an abyss dug by fate, but here, in our hearts, it is deepest” — these words vividly reflect the main idea of the play, which made each of us think about true values.
