The educational and professional program "Accounting and Taxation" was developed within the scope of specialty 071 Accounting and Taxation and arose on the basis of many years of practice of training accounting specialists at the Higher Educational Service "RFK NUBiP of Ukraine" (ID in EDEBO 34073), which has more than 70 years of experience.
Due to the strengthening of the role of the accountant in the enterprise management system and the constant requests of employers regarding the need for qualified specialists, as well as taking into account that in the Rivne region there are no higher education institutions that train specialists of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the OPP "Accounting and Taxation" with an emphasis on the agrarian sector of the economy, the administration of the Higher Educational Institution "Rivne College of NUBiP of Ukraine" made a decision to implement the educational program "Accounting and Taxation" with a shortened training period based on the OCP "junior specialist".
The program was implemented on September 1, 2018 and in 2020 was successfully accredited by the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
During the implementation period of the educational and professional program "Accounting and Taxation", it is systematically updated and modernized in order to meet modern requirements for the accounting profession. To this end, the working group is in constant contact with employers and other stakeholders.

Extended meeting of the cyclical commission of economic disciplines to discuss the draft educational and professional program "Accounting and Taxation"
The higher education reform strategy envisages the establishment of a system for monitoring and continuous improvement of the quality of higher education. Regular monitoring, review and updating of educational programs are aimed at ensuring that the provision of educational services meets a high level and also creates a favorable learning environment for higher education students.
On April 16, 2024, a meeting of the cyclical commission of economic disciplines was held to discuss the draft educational and professional program "Accounting and Taxation" of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, specialty 071 Accounting and Taxation, field of knowledge 07 Management and Administration.
The discussion of the educational program was attended by the guarantor of the educational program Oksana NEMKOVYCH; members of the working group: Alla GNATYUK, Vasyl TSARUK - director of the college, Lyudmila MATVIYCHUK - director of LLC "Audit Company "Aktiv Plus", Sofia PASHKOVA - a student of the 4-OB group; stakeholder Olga KRASOVSKA - director of LLC "Audit Company" "DEFENSE"; Lyudmila BALDYCH - deputy director for academic work; Vadym LYULCHYK - methodologist of the college; teachers of economic disciplines and all interested parties.
The guarantor of the educational and professional program, Oksana NEMKOVYCH, informed those present about the status of finalizing the comments and considering the proposals provided by the expert group and the industry expert council based on the results of the preliminary accreditation examination. The proposals and reviews for the draft educational and professional program provided by stakeholders were considered. The mechanism for selecting elective academic disciplines and their list were discussed.
