For the first time, the educational and professional program "Geodesy and Land Management" of the Higher Educational Service "RFK NUBiP of Ukraine" (ID in EDEBO 34068), which recruited applicants for higher education with a Bachelor's degree, was approved in 2018 and successfully passed accreditation by the National Agency for Education Quality Assurance in June 2020.

The program was created in the absence of an educational standard, the duration of study was 2 years based on the educational and qualification level "Junior Specialist".

During 2018-2024, in the process of implementing the educational and professional program "Geodesy and Land Management", the working group was and is in constant contact with employers and other stakeholders, the main ones of which are the head of the land relations department of the executive committee of the Rivne City Council Serhiy Targonii, director of the design and production private enterprise-firm "Convest-project" Vadym Volkoshovets, director of the land management private enterprise "Rost" Rustam Mamatov, representatives of the college's student self-government bodies, etc. Accordingly, the program is constantly being updated and modernized in order to meet the modern requirements of the field of geodesy and land management and employers.

Extended meeting of the cyclical commission of land management disciplines to discuss the draft educational and professional program "Geodesy and Land Management"

On April 3 and 4, 2024, an expanded meeting of the cyclical commission of land management disciplines was held to discuss the draft educational and professional program "Geodesy and Land Management". The first half was held in a face-to-face format, the second - in a distance learning format. The meeting was attended by stakeholders Serhiy TARGONII - Head of the Land Relations Department of the Executive Committee of the Rivne City Council, Vadym VOLKOSHOVETS - Head of the Geodesy Department of the Design and Production Private Enterprise-Firm "Convest-Proekt", Rustam MAMATOV - Director of the Private Land Management Enterprise "Rost", Nadiya VASHCHYSHYNA - Head of the Department of Land Management, Land Assessment Works and Preparation of the Planning and Cartographic Basis of the Rivne Regional Branch of the State Land Cadastre Center, member of the working group on updating and modernizing the educational program, Vasyl TSARUK - Director of the College, Lyudmila BALDYCH - Deputy Director for Educational Work, Angelina STEFANISHYN - Head of Group 6-ZB, member of the working group, and everyone interested.

It is especially pleasing that the meeting was joined by past graduates Nazar GANZHYLOVSKY, Iryna DEMCHUK, Maryna MARTYNYUK, and Olga YUSENKO, current members of the college alumni association, who outlined the main differences from past educational and professional programs. At the same time, they noted that the presented curriculum and OPP have significantly evolved, taking into account changes in the field of geodesy and land management, the acquisition of necessary soft skills, and demand in the labor market.

Graduating students Daryna FEDKEVYCH and Maryana NIKOLAYCHUK spoke positively about the content of the professional orientation of the educational components in the curriculum with the OPP "Geodesy and Land Management" and the practical content.

During the discussion, proposals from past graduates and bachelor's graduates were heard regarding improving the educational process, conducting internships, and enriching the content of the curriculum (educational program).

Iryna DEMCHUK, a graduate of previous years, submitted a proposal to add the following subjects to the catalog of elective components: "Basics of Civilian Drone Management", "Thematic Land Mapping", "Geospatial Analysis", "Natural Resources Cadastre". The choice of these subjects by students will allow them to expand their knowledge and skills in modern directions of industry development and opportunities in future employment.

The compliance of the educational program components with the requirements of the G18 specialty standard "Geodesy and Land Management", modern land management production, and the status of corrections of the comments and suggestions of the expert group and the industry expert council that were provided during the previous accreditation examination were analyzed in detail.

The meeting also considered proposals for the draft educational and professional program received by the college and reviews of the OPP provided by stakeholders.
