From time immemorial, the Ukrainian land has been generous and blessed, because it has given birth to people whose genius the world bows down to. And the foremost among them is Taras Shevchenko, poet, playwright, prose writer, thinker, historian, ethnographer, folklorist, who left a great artistic legacy - over a thousand works.
March 4, 2024 year was held open class «The spiritual immensity of Shevchenko – a poet and an artist, a person and an individual» for participants of the English language club led by I. V. Muzychuk
Why not try learning English with Taras Shevchenko? He would definitely approve of the desire to “learn from others and not shy away from your own.” So, 1st year students – 11th, 11th, 11th, 11th, 12th groups – learned more about our Kobzar and at the same time learned new English words and practiced grammar.
Participants watched the training video in English, from which we learned various interesting facts about the path of Taras Shevchenko, got acquainted with the new vocabulary and practiced listening to English, carried out grammar analysis, performed task, aimed at working out and studying past tenses in English, and interactive exercises to consolidate language material.
