On March 6, on the eve of the International Day of Women's Rights and Peace, a bibliographic review-presentation was held in the college's library and information center by the leading librarian Petrenko G. I. for students of the 11-O group (curator Baranovskaya I. A.) "Woman, you are always magnificent!"
There are many outstanding women in the history of mankind. Ukrainian women are a special phenomenon that has no analogues in the world. With their multifaceted activities, outstanding Ukrainian women have influenced the development and formation of world and Ukrainian states. They have made a significant contribution to culture, art, education, sports, science, literature and many other spheres of civilization. And also throughout centuries of history, they have sincerely supported their country and its socio-economic development. Strong and indomitable in spirit, professional and brave, they are still defending our Ukraine with weapons in their hands.
In 2023, three Ukrainian women entered the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) project "100 Women"The list includes Ukrainian women who inspired with their work in light of the Ukrainian people's resistance to Russian aggression. This is a writer Oksana Zabuzhko, children's rights advocate Olena Rozvadovska, climate policy advisor Iryna Stavchuk.
By the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion in America, a film was created about the Ukrainian singer Jamala and the war in Ukraine.Jamala. Songs of Freedom»Journalists followed the singer and filmed all the events and significant moments: her performances abroad at world venues such as Eurovision in Liverpool, in New York at GLobal citizens, Kennedy Center honors in Washington and others, and also showed the consequences of the war in the film with footage from Bucha, Irpin and Kyiv.
Students of the 11th grade, Khomych Oksana, Podubynska Olga, and Khmyruk Olesya, actively participated in the event.
From the prepared presentation and literature review "Notable Women of Ukraine" Those present learned a lot of interesting information about the most famous women of Ukraine from princely times to the present day.
