On February 23, 2024, an open lesson in the discipline "Physics, Astronomy" was held by the teacher of natural and mathematical disciplines Hrytsyk T.A. in group 11-F of specialty 072 "Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market". The topic of the lesson was "M. Faraday's Experiments. The Law of Electromagnetic Induction".
During the lesson, first-year students actively participated in discussing problematic issues and solving problems. The lesson was held in an atmosphere of active interaction and group work. Students presented their own projects on the topics "The influence of the magnetic field on living organisms and humans" (Khomych Daryna), "The scientific feat of Michael Faraday" (Polishchuk Anna), "The life and work of Wilhelm Weber" (Romanovskaya Angelina).
During the heuristic conversation, the main concepts and statements of the topic were considered, in particular, the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction, induced current, Lenz's rules, and the application of eddy currents in practice. Interesting demonstration experiments stimulated the research abilities of students. During the lesson, students discussed, asked questions, and expressed their own opinions. At the final stage of the lesson, online testing was conducted as a means of self-testing and feedback. The students were interested and active, and showed good practical skills on this topic.
