Students of the Programming Department joined the School of the Future IT Specialist

On February 2, 2024, students of the programming department joined the Schools for future IT specialists (workshop on the topic: «"Is computer game programming easy or difficult?") Event organizer:  Faculty of IT NUBiP of Ukraine.

School of the future IT specialist: an online marathon of opportunities for self-development and interesting leisure, including in-depth familiarization with the faculty's specialties and trends in the IT field, thematic webinars, practicals, and workshops.

The event began with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the Faculty of IT of NUBiP of Ukraine, Glazunova Elena GrigorievnaIn her greeting, she emphasized the importance of such initiatives for students who have chosen a path in the IT field, and expressed the hope that participation in the School of the Future IT Specialist will be an interesting and useful experience for them.

Nazarenko Volodymyr Anatoliyovych shared his unique experience in the IT sector and revealed the importance of the role of various specialists in this industrial segment. He noted that the IT sector includes not only programmers, but also many other specialists who are necessary for the successful functioning of companies.

The following issues were addressed by the professional speaker:

  • level of experience;
  • choice of graphics engine;
  • game specifications;
  • multimedia skills;
  • knowledge of mathematics and physics;
  • testing and debugging.

The conclusion that can be drawn is that the process of developing computer games can have varying degrees of complexity, depending on the game itself and the level of experience of the programmer.

Game programming can be both a creative and highly specialized task, requiring not only technical expertise but also a creative approach from the developer. It is an exciting activity that opens up many opportunities for personal and professional development in the entertainment field and the industry in general.
